Slam Dunk: Performance Poetry

OVERVIEWThis unit provides opportunities for Grade 12 students to analyze poems and narratives and multi-media texts that represent poetry and identity in a variety of ways. They will work collaboratively, engage in dramatic readings of poems, and construct a video or prezi about a rap or rant poem they have created themselves.
